At Wednesday’s selectmen’s meeting, the selectmen were advised by the DOT that “Take a Walk in Our Shoes” would be walking on Route 16 in Albany on Sunday, September 20. (This group wants to bring attention to the drug addiction problem in the county and the state. If you would like to join this walk, send an email to: takeawalkinourshoes2015@gmail.com.) Selectman Kelly Robitaille has asked one of the other selectmen to attend upcoming Planning Board meetings as he is unable to do so himself. Jack Rose reported on the County Delegation meeting he attended earlier in the day. Two other Albanians were also there: Stan and Dorothy Solomon. This meeting was not quite as long as the last Delegation meeting. At it the Delegation voted to support a $2.4 million supplemental budget (rather than a $2.6 million). Keep tuned to what that means for each of the town’s taxpayers.
