The Town Clerk/Tax Collector’s Office is open:
Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 – 7 p.m.; Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
and the last Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to noon (except for holiday weekends)
THE TOWN CLERK’S OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED ON THE FOLLOWING DAYS FOR TRAINING.
THERE WILL BE A MAKEUP DATE(S) FOR EACH CLOSURE. WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.

Tax Payers Responsibility:
It is the responsibility of the property owner to know that taxes are due and payable twice a year. If a bill has not been received for each property owned, they should contact the Tax Collector’s office. It is also the responsibility of the tax payer to notify the Board of Selectman’s office in writing of a change in mailing address.

Most transactions can be completed online or by mail for motor vehicle renewal, dog licenses, birth/marriage/death certificate requests and tax payments.

You can continue to renew dog licenses at any time, and you can request and pay online. Late fees will begin on June 1st at $1.00 per month. If you get an error message, please call or email townclerk@albanynh.org as we may have to update the record manually.
