Bears are on the rampage it seems. As you may have read in the paper on Wednesday, Terry Leavitt had a run in with a bear who apparently was attracted to her car parked in Birch Hill. Her mom, Mary, reports that there was a bear and truck altercation on Bald Hill Road. The bear was able to run off into the woods. Watch out for wildlife especially at this time of year.

It’s cleanup time for the Valley. Though last weekend was the official date to clean up the area, there’s no harm in continuing to pick up what you may note as rubbish in your neighborhood. The weather seems to have warmed up enough to get out and enjoy the outdoors. Have a great week.
