An important notice from the Fish and Game Office. Do not pick up any young wildlife you may think is abandoned. Very often the mother is nearby. Instead, report the location of the animal to Fish and Game and they will check it out. It is illegal to have wildlife in your possession.

Check with the Conway Police Department to see if they are participating in the safe disposal of prescription drugs today. Getting rid of unused, expired and unwanted drugs in a safe manner is extremely important.

Don’t forget the Chinese Auction fundraiser and informational meeting being held today from 1-3pm at the American Legion Post 46 on Tasker Hill Road in support of Starting Home, the transitional housing project for homeless veterans scheduled to be built in Ossipee.

And, on Friday, May 2 at noon, Carol Shea-Porter will be at the American Legion Post 46 to speak with all who wish to attend. Bring your questions and/or comments for the Congresswoman.
