November 4, 2016

The selectmen met last Thursday with bidders who wished to repair the doors to the meeting room to check on exactly what they are planning to do. No decision has been made as yet.

At the Wednesday selectmen’s meeting they discussed the liabilities of allowing usage of town hall. The town’s insurance carrier, Primex, responded to questions posed by the selectmen. One item, alcohol use at functions was discussed. According to Primex, only insured vendors would be allowed to serve liquor.

During the selectmen’s work session they discussed the sign ordinances: size, location, intent of signs were looked at. They also spoke about contracts and leases.

The selectmen will meet with the residents of Wanalancet on November 16 at 4 p.m. at the Wanalancet Union Chapel. As always the meeting is open to the public.
