The next meeting of the Albany School Board is at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 18 at the Albany town offices. Among the items on the agenda are: signing of checks and manifest; public comments; superintendent’s report; and setting a date and time for the budget hearing.
Joe Ferris and Sara Young-Knox participated in the SAU 9 meeting on Nov. 13. Seventeen candidates applied for the position of superintendent. The selection committee will winnow this list down to two or three candidates. The SAU board will interview the top candidates. The SAU 9 board interviews will likely take place in January, after the holidays.
